THE FORUM ON WORKPLACE INCLUSION AWARDS YOULANDA GIBBONS, Ph.D. THE “POWER THE FUTURE” AWARD AT THE 2021 ANNUAL CONFERENCE WORKPLACE REVOLUTION

The Forum on Workplace Inclusion  awarded Dr. Youlanda Gibbons the prestigious “Power the Future” Award at the virtual Annual Conference “Workplace Revolution” March 8-12, 2021.

Youlanda Gibbons, PhD is the Founder and Executive Director of the world-class Partnership for Inclusion Leadership Dr. Gibbons is a nationally known diversity and inclusion strategist and Georgetown University professor.

As a leader and visionary, Dr. Gibbons has created ongoing education and high-level training programs to enhance inclusion and diversity initiatives in the Federal Government and Military. She has partnered with Human Resources and Human Capital leaders to develop strategies to ensure diversity and inclusion is embedded in recruitment, hiring, performance management, retention, leadership development and all other aspects of human capital management, strategic plans, goals, and objectives.

“It is an honor to receive this award for the work we are doing to seek answers to the complex questions about learning to lead inclusively and preparing government and industry for the future,” says Dr. Gibbons.

Youlanda Gibbons, Ph.D. is the Founder and Executive Director of the Partnership for Inclusion Leadership. Dr. Gibbons is a nationally known diversity and inclusion thought leader and an affiliated Georgetown University Scholar in the Department of Sociology. She is blazing the trail for organizational change and transformation by building diversity and inclusion competency and capacity.   Dr. Gibbons’ passion and expertise brings together leaders and practitioners from private industry, government, non-profits, and academia, inspiring them to advance the critical role of diversity and inclusion practices in support of the American people. Her vision has touched every Federal department and over 75 agencies across the nation and internationally, including the U. S. Departments of Defense, Energy, Interior, Commerce, Health and Human Services, National Institutes of Health, NASA and Veterans Affairs.
